We are a church that believes being a disciple of Christ involves more than just attending worship on Sunday mornings. Faith in Christ is not just another aspect of our life, it is our life! Thus, those involved in our church meet together regularly outside worship to connect, learn, and put Faith into action. Below are some examples of how adults can plug into the many ways our church supports discipleship.

New Member Classes: Have you been attending Purple Door Church for a while and are looking to join as an official member? In the Fall and Spring, we offer the opportunity to talk with the Pastors, meet the staff, and hear about the many opportunities our church offers for Spiritual growth. Small Groups: Our church has been involved in small groups for many years and we have 18 groups that regularly meet. In 2017, we will be kicking off new groups for those that aren’t part of a group but would like to join one. This Fall, Pastor Jonathan will be offering a Small Group to disciple those that would like to be small group leaders. The commitment will be to meet twice a month for one year. For more information, contact Pastor Jonathan at firstname.lastname@example.org
25-30’s Small Group: There is a new small group at our church that is open to anyone age 25-30’s. We will be getting together once a month for fellowship, devotion, and yes… FOOD! Contact Pastor Jonathan if you are interested in joining.
United Methodist Women: We have a very vibrant UMW at Purple Door Church that includes many groups known as “circles.” Activities of the groups include fellowship, Bible study, and doing service together. For more info about UMW click here
