Karen Brantley believes that God is continually shaping us and that each phase of life serves as a stepping stone in the journey of living out our call. Karen’s journey includes extensive experience in the creation and adaptation of programming in behavior management through her 12 years serving as a Recreation Therapist at Riverside Methodist Hospital’s Inpatient Behavioral Health. Her passion for creating pathways of discipleship led her to serve as the Director of Christian Education and Minister of Children at Stonybrook UMC in Gahanna from 2001-2008 and from 2012-2016 at Trinity UMC in Columbus. Karen also served as a bridge between the communities and the local church to launch new ministries with our Hispanic neighbors throughout the West Ohio Conference as the Director of Hispanic Ministries from 2011-2015. Karen is an ordained deacon and is married to her husband Ken. They have three adult children Andrew, Kristen and Taylor.
